We’re headed west again for our official CD release tour for Adventures In Vagabondia.
Please check our concerts page. We’ll be in California, Oregon and Washington on this round. We’re excited to be playing with great guitarist Greg Ruby (from Pearl Django and Hot Club Sandwich) for the first half the tour and then Ross Martin (From Matt Flinner Trio) for the second half the tour.

Yes, it is. We had a terrific time on the east coast with our roving band – David, Enion, Troy, little Aesop, faithful professional ball dog Tabla, and our trusty brigade of guitarists – Ross (Martin), Grant (Gordy), and Jefferson (Hamer). Particular highlights were both shows in Brooklyn, our visit to Wrentham, Mass to play at Proctor Mansion Inn, the wonderous “Barns Of Rosehill” to a sold out house in North Virginia and the house concert we played in Charlottesville. We returned home to Colorado, where spring is already champing at the bit, and headed for the snowy mountains to play a bluegrass festival in Keystone. We played a Boulder CD Release show, which was so much fun!

This month we are gearing up for more Colorado shows. David and Enion will be performing as a duo up in Gold Hill, and in Berthoud, and then the whole band will reconvene for a trip to our favorite stomping grounds – Northern California, Oregon and Washington. Check our schedule for details. Of course, all of these shows are CD Release parties, so we will have our new album in hand. Please note that some of the shows include a CD with price of admission – pretty cool, eh?

We are proud and excited to release our new album, “Adventures in Vagabondia!” We are celebrating the release with a tour of the east coast, to be followed by CD release shows in Colorado in February and in the northwest in March and April. We’re embarking on our East Coast CD Release tour today, starting with a show at the wonderful Club Passim in Boston. The show will be broadcast live on concert window – you can buy tickets for just $5 if you can’t come to the show.

Adventures in Vagabondia

And it has been grand! It has been a long time since David and I have gotten to tour as a duo, and we have really gotten into the groove over the past week. A definite highlight was our stop in Seattle at Empty Sea Studios, when we played to a completely full house of very sweet wonderful folks, and a (presumably) enthusiastic web audience as well. The web-cast was a new experience – and a lot of fun; quite a different way to think about a show – and we hope to repeat that experience. If you’d like to repeat the webcast experience, by the way, the show will be archived at www.youtube.com/emptyseatelevision for your viewing and reviewing pleasure.

We are headed to Idaho Falls today for a show at a great little venue called Vino Rosso. Join us there Friday 10/19 at 9 pm. We are also headed to lovely Cedar City, UT, to play a really terrific concert series called the Artiste Sanctuary, which takes place at St Jude’s Episcopal Church and is put on by the folks who run Groovefest. In other news, we are hard at work nailing down shows for our big Winter/Spring 2013 tours in support of the release of our new CD! The album is called Adventures in Vagabondia, and it officially releases nationally and internationally, thanks to the gooodle internet, in January 2013. Official release date will be published soon. Visit our “shows” page to see these dates magicalily  appear as we confirm them.

We’re excited to perform a NW duo tour this coming week!! Starting Oct. 10th in Portland, OR. We’ll be playing Port Townsend, WA, Seattle, WA, Cascadia Raindance Festival at Hornings Hideout, OR , and in Bend, OR.!!

We’ll be playing in Taos and Santa Fe Sept. 21st and 22nd!! We LOVE New Mexico!!!

David and Enion just had a great night as members of “Darol Anger and Friends” at Cervantes Otherside in Denver!! What a wonderful experience for us to play with one of our all time favorite heroes Mr. Darol Anger!!! We were joined by Grant Gordy, Sally Van meter, Emy Phelps and a whole crew of wonderful musicians!!
